The measures are automatically collected and interpreted by the software. Various components, mainly measurement devices, can be optionally installed on the unit for more comfort and versatility. Thus, individual needs can be satisfied at any time since the additional components (with exception of the wash system) can be purchased separately.

The FILTRATEST fully complies with the German guidelines VDI-Richtlinie 2762 "Filtrierbarkeit von Suspensionen - Bestimmung des Filterkuchenwiderstandes" (i.e. „Filterability of slurries – determination of the cake resistance“) and can apply for industrial applications, control tests or research works.
